We had a great meeting on Tuesday – thanks to all who were able to attend! We tentatively have 8 plot leaders, with a possibility of a few more, which means we can support around 16 shareholders/sponsors and around 50-60 volunteer shareholders, depending on how many volunteer shareholders our new plot leaders recruit on their own.

I will have the presentation and handouts that we used at Tuesday’s meeting up on the blog later this evening, so check back later on for more information.

We are diligently recruiting volunteer shareholders to “man” our plots. We hope to have group garden days out at the garden the first two weeks in May. Following the group days in May, the volunteer shareholders will meet with their plot leaders individually in order to determine your volunteer schedules throughout the season. If you are interested in being a volunteer shareholder, please complete the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) agreement and put it in the Grace Garden mail slot with your payment in the staff work room at Grace Community Church. We will be operating on a first-come, first-serve basis based on our volunteer shareholder capacity.

If you would like to help out at the garden, but cannot commit to the volunteer shareholder requirements, we will keep you abreast of more “general” volunteer opportunities at the blog…so be sure to check back often (or, even better, sign up for email updates via this link – also in the links to the left).

If you are interested in being a shareholder or sponsor, please complete the CSA agreement and put it in the Grace Garden mail slot with your payment in the staff work room at Grace Community Church. We will also accept sponsors and shareholders based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me! Check back later for a more detailed update of Tuesday’s meeting!
